I call myself the “Online Geometry Tutor” so that families with kids struggling during that second year of high school will find me when they search for help online.
New students begin with me during their first year algebra or geometry classes.
I retired from the classroom after teaching for 22 years. I’ve taught almost every class from 8th grade math to calculus!
Algebra and geometry skills build the foundation for success in the upper level courses, so if your teen has gaps in those early courses, those gaps will frustrate them and hold them back.
Mastery of those early skills is also critical for a solid performance on standardized exams like the SAT or ACT, too.
If a student started with me for algebra 1 or geometry, they may not need help for upper level courses, but if they do, I will work with them for algebra 2, trigonometry, precalculus, and first year calculus.
What I can tutor is not as important as knowing if I’m the right tutor for your teen. Let’s set up a visit to talk about what is going on.
